Pedro Alvarez

Pedro G. Alvarez, age 74, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born January 18, 1944 in Laureles Ranch, Kleberg County to Enrique Alvarez and Armandina Guerrero Alvarez. He worked for the King Ranch for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
Pedro is survived by his wife of 50 years of marriage, Carmela Alvarez of Bishop; four children, twins Adan (Carmina) Alvarez of King Ranch and Amanda (Ruben) Ramirez of Driscoll, Texas, Adriana (Manny) Lunoff of Odem, Texas and Pedro (Mandi) Alvarez Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Juan Alvarez of Kingsville; one sister, Janie Alvarez of state of Georgia; and he was "Popo" to nine grandchildren, Clarissa and Claudia Alvarez, Marinna and Marisella Ramirez, Araceli and Cinco Lunoff, Tres, Adrian and Nadia Alvarez.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop, Texas. Burial will follow at Laureles Ranch Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville, Texas.
