Patricia Saverline

Patricia A. “Patty” Bernsen Saverline, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 26, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born December 6, 1938, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Robert F. and Hilda M. Bernsen.

She was an adult leader in Cub Scouts, Bluebirds, and 4-H. She served on the school board at Ricardo ISD for 15 years. She was a lifelong Elvis fan, and loved to listen to music and play with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband E. Frank Saverline, her sister Mary Helen Rundberg, her son William Andrew Saverline, and her grandson Charles Richard Saverline Jr.

She is survived by her brother Robert F. (Bette) Bernsen Jr. of Corpus Christi, her three sons Charles Richard (Peggy) Saverline of Kingsville, Michael Wayne (Suzy) Saverline of Richardson, David Earl (Lisa) Saverline of Woodsboro, her two daughters Susan Kay Saverline of Plano, and Cynthia Lynn (James) Montgomery of Weatherford, twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10:00 am. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Interment will fallow at Chamberlain Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choosing.
