Pastor Lopez, Iii

Pastor Nick Lopez III, age 38, a resident of Kingsville, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Kingsville. He was born February 25, 1977 in Falfurrias, Texas to Nicolas Lopez Jr. and Irma Mata Lopez. Nick was a 1995 Premont High School graduate and attended Texas A&M University - Kingsville. He was an ordained minister. He started his service for the Lord at Hidalgo Park Baptist Church in Premont. Presently he was an associate pastor at Coastal Bend Fellowship Church. He was also a para-professional at H.M. King High School. Nick was a missionary and had a passion for working with the youth of his church family as well as surrounding communities. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Spurs and Redskins! He loved to write and play music and had a gift for making people laugh.
Nick is survived by his mother, Irma M. Lopez of Blanco, Texas; father, Nicolas Lopez Jr. (Sulema) of Premont; three sisters, Jenny Lopez Mora (Robert) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jessica Lopez Storck (John) of Kingsville and Rita Lopez of Corpus Christi; one brother, Joaquin Rodriguez (Hannah) of Corpus Christi; paternal grandmother, Conrada R. Lopez of Falfurrias; nieces and nephews, Nneka, Matthew, Gavin, Tristin, Jamar, Wesley, Amri and Sadie.
Visitation will take place after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Coastal Bend Fellowship Church with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 at Coastal Bend Fellowship Church, 1500 East Caesar Avenue, Kingsville, with Rev. Noe Trevino Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Premont, Texas at Premont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Coastal Bend Fellowship Church in memory of Pastor Nick Lopez III Scholarship Fund.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
