Pamela Ann Hees Taylor, age 62, a resident of Kingsville, Texas, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on June 20, 1962, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Leonard Charles Hees and Julia Lynn Norman Hees, Pam was a lifelong member of the Kingsville and Calallen community who lived a life full of love, dedication, and accomplishments. Pam and her husband built the Jack Taylor Farmers Insurance and Integrity Storage companies together. She embodied the role of a "Team Mom," always the first to volunteer for youth groups, little league, booster clubs, and the 4-H Club. Pam served as a mother figure to many.
Pam was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who loved her family fiercely. She dedicated much of her time to caring for her loved ones and those around her. Pam had a deep affection for her dogs and grand-dogs. She was passionate about nature and photography and cherished her time spent by the Frio River. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Julia Hees, and her sister, Linda Lee Hees.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Jack Taylor of Calallen, Texas; three children, Courtney Taylor, Whitney (Luis) Taylor Irigoyen, and Ryan Taylor; her two sisters, Glenda (Tom) Best and Susan (Royce) Nitschmann, both of Kingsville; one granddaughter, Rowen Lowery; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, 312 W. King St., Kingsville, with Pastor Bubba Stahl officiating. Burial will follow at the Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville.
Pam's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will forever inspire all who knew her, as her children carry on her motto, "I love you more."
In lieu of floral tributes, donations in Pam’s honor may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
