Oscar Cruz

Oscar Cruz, age 67, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Kingsville. He was born May 20, 1946 in Bishop, Texas to Jose Lucio Cruz Jr. and Juanita Castillo Cruz. Mr. Cruz was employed for Schlumberger Oilfield Service until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church.
Oscar is survived by his wife of 49 years of marriage, Evangelina H. Cruz of Kingsville three daughters, Rosie Cruz Tommy, Grace Lopez Johnny and Melva Mora Rene, all of Kingsville two sons, Joe Barron Bea of Banquete, Texas and Oscar Cruz Jr. Marie of Kingsville one brother, Jose Cruz of Kingsville one sister, Margarita Ambriz of Kingsville nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
