Oliver Till

Oliver Frank Till, age 98, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born April 21, 1915 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Adolf Till and Emma Krees Till. Mr. Till was a selfemployed farmer in Nueces County until his retirement. He was a founding member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus and First Lt. in Civil Air Patrol.
Mr. Till was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Till and grandson, Travis Till.
He is survived by two daughters, Bernadine Morgan of Paris, Texas and Rose Till of Bishop two sisters, Sister Mary Anselm Till of Corpus Christi and Lorraine Underbrink of Riviera, Texas six grandchildren and one greatgranddaughter.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited by Msgr. James Harris at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. Gertrudes Catholic Church, 1120 South Eighth Street, Kingsville, with Fr. John Chavarria and Msgr. James Harris as celebrants. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412 with Msgr. James Harris officiating.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
