Oliver Neuse

Oliver William Neuse, age 91, a resident of Austin, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Austin. He was born November 26, 1924 in San Marcos, Texas to Richard Neuse and Irene Hartwig Neuse. Mr. Neuse was employed as an operator and production supervisor for Celanese Chemical Plant until his retirement. He was a former member of the First Christian Church, Kingsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Slaughter Neuse; parents; son, Don Gregory Neuse; sister, Connie Butin, and brother, Raymond Neuse.
Mr. Neuse is survived by two sons, David W. Neuse and wife Nancy and Douglas M. Neuse and wife Patty Lee, both of Austin; one brother, Daniel Neuse of Marysville, California; two sisters, Bertie Frazier of Abingdon, Virginia and Ruth Crow of Weatherford, Texas; and four grandchildren, Keith Neuse of Austin, Kyle Neuse of Corpus Christi, Texas, Bradley Neuse of Waco, Texas and Shannon Neuse of Austin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim M. Curran officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
