Ofilia Cisneros Meza, 69 of Kingsville, was born July 9, 1952 in Kingsville, Texas to Wenceslao and Elvira Meza. She died at 10:00 AM, October 8, 2021 at Kleberg County Hospital, after years of fiercely battling cancer.
Ofilia had an associate's degree in the medical field, and was certified as a beautician and as a nursing assistant. However, her passion/love was being a provider for the elderly and caring for Individuals with disabilities, and did so for the majority of her life. She retired with Kingsville ISD assisting bus drivers with Individuals with disabilities.
Ofilia was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents Wenceslao and Elvira Meza, and her brother Wenceslao Jr. She is survived by her sons, Freddy Gonzalez and Bobby Meza Flores, her siblings Rosa (Angel) Beltran, Lucy (JoJo) Garza, Juan Francisco (Belen) Meza, Hector Meza and Olga Perez, sister in law Dariela Meza, and her 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2pm for family only, and for the public from 5-7pm at Turcotte Piper Mortuary in Kingsville Texas. A rosary will follow the viewing at 7pm. A mass will take place at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Kingsville Texas on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 10am.
