Nathan William Pippin, age 74, went to be with our Lord on January 16, 2016 with his beloved family by his side. Nathan was born on September 3, 1941 to Clyde and Alice Pippin in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M Class of 1963 with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He then entered the oil field industry and held many positions there, giving he and his wife Mable the opportunity to live and explore different parts of the country and abroad. He later became a partner in Drilling Materials, Inc. in Kingsville, Texas and in 1999 formed his own consulting company, Pippin Outdoor Enterprises. Nathan loved the outdoors and passed that love down to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending an evening dove hunting by a tank, telling stories, quail hunting with his dogs, and stalking redfish in Baffin Bay. He had many hobbies including photography, bird watching, knife making and woodworking. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Peggy Weaver Smith. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Mable Ann Pippin, daughters, Jeannie (Mark) Miller of Corpus Christi, Texas; Cindy (Bryan) Danmier of Spring Branch, Texas; Lisa (Scott) Reopelle of La Vernia; one brother, Richard Pippin of Denver, Colorado, six grandchildren, Grant Miller; Zachary, Trevor and Courtney Danmier; Cole and Jonah Reopelle, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday January 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Kingsville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Texas A&M Foundation, 401 George Bush Drive, College Station, Texas 77840. Please designate: In Memory of Nathan Pippin.
