Naomi L. Weitzel, age 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of Salisbury and Ocean City, Maryland passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Kingsville. She was born October 10, 1924 in Princess Anne, Maryland to Charles H. Larmore and Elva Alice Larson Larmore. Mrs. Weitzel graduated from business school and later was the owner of Weitzel's Restaurant in Ocean City. She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Weitzel was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon M. Weitzel; son, Charles R. Weitzel; parents; two sisters; and grandson, Matthew Weitzel.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte W. Esteves of Kingsville and her late husband, Edward Esteves and Brenda A. Weitzel and her husband, Najeh Fauz of Houston, Texas; one son, Gordon M. Weitzel Jr. of Salisbury, Maryland; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Edwin Cann officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Additional services and entombment will be under the direction of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland 21804.
Local arrangements are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
