Myrtle Hausler

Myrtle Alice Hausler, age 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Kingsville. She was born November 9, 1922 in Rockhampton, Australia to Frederick Borchardt and Alice Jacobson Borchardt. Mrs. Hausler was a member of the Volunteer First Aid, Rockhampton. She also was a member the Home Demonstration Club and First Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Hausler; parents; one brother, Alan Borchardt; and one son, Ronald D. Hausler.
Mrs. Hausler is survived by one son, Alan Hausler (Patti) of Kingsvlle; one daughter, Lynette Yaklin (late Hal) of Kingsville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Robert "Sandy" Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
