Moises Ybarra Juarez passed away peacefully in his home, with his family by his side on October 28, 2021, at the age of 90. He was born premature on November 3, 1930, in Robstown, Texas to Juanita and Ascencion Juarez. Moises was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He was a retired carpenter; and his favorite past time was spending time with his grandkids and family, watching Bonanza, and making everyone smile and laugh daily.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Juarez; parents, Juanita and Ascension Juarez; brother David Juarez and sister Natividad Villarreal.
Moises is survived by his children, Noelia Gaytan, Raquel (Jorge) Cuellar, Moises Juarez, Jr., and Virginia (Daniel) Rosas; siblings, Alberto Juarez, Samuel (Norma) Juarez, and Emma Juarez; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM; with a holy rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM and chapel service to begin at 12:30 PM. A rite of committal and interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
