Minerva Montalvo

Minerva A. Montalvo, age 82, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born September 10, 1932 in Agua Dulce, Texas to Medardo Alvarado and Francisca Garcia Alvarado. Mrs. Montalvo was a member of Grace Community Church, Kingsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus R. Montalvo and one son, Jesus A. Montalvo Jr. and parents.
Mrs. Montalvo is survived by six daughters, Ilma Cortez, Norma Ramos and husband Espi, Frances Cisneros, Cynthia Wallace and husband David, Connie Romero and Linda Lee Montalvo, all of Kingsville three sons, Ernest Montalvo and wife Veronica, Robert Montalvo and Michael Montalvo, all of Kingsville three brothers, Conrado Alvarado of Corpus Christi, Texas, Medardo Alvardo Jr. and Victor Alvarado, both of Kingsville one sister, Ruby Guzman of Ricardo, Texas 27 grandchildren 61 greatgrandchildren and four greatgreatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Julian Rangel officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
