Michelle Turcotte Rivers

On Thursday, September 17, 2020, Michelle Turcotte Rivers (Shelley) passed away at the age of 63 surrounded by loved ones.

Shelley was born in 1956 to John (Jack) William Turcotte and Barbara  Sue Turcotte of Sarita TX. Shelley was preceded in death by her father, Jack. She lived out her life in South Texas amidst family and friends, namely her surviving children, Blaine Stephen Haggerton and Alysha Lynn Haggerton, their father Rodney Lynn Haggerton, and her grandchildren Sierra Lynn Haggerton and Sean Michael Haggerton. She was loved by her many siblings, Therese Crocker, John Greg Turcotte, Renée Turcotte, Erin Fisher, and Kristin Turcotte, all of their children, and the many members of extended family. Her laughter will also be remembered by the many connections made while owning and operating Showplace Graphics in Downtown Kingsville and her hours spent volunteering and socializing at the Elks Lodge of Kingsville.

A viewing will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. A celebration of life and a Catholic mass will be held at a later date.

Memorial Mass to be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A private graveside service will follow.
