Michael Collier

Michael Edward Collier, age 63, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born July 20, 1950 to John Edward Collier and Velma Waxler Collier. He was employed by Highway Barracade Services. He enjoyed his family, spending time at Lake Mathis and watching races the Dirt Track.
Mr. Collier was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Collier.
He is survived by his mother, Velma L. Collier three sisters, Beverly Forrest Lanmon, Peggy Don Lundmark and Janet Chaddock two sons, James Trisha Collier and Michael Marissa E. Collier II three daughters, Angela N. Collier, Bonnie Joey De Luna and Amanda Bill Cherry and five grandchildren, Hannah, JoNathan, Liam, JoCaleb and Khloe.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Bishop, Texas at Restland Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
