Melinda Beltran

Melinda Yvette Muniz Beltran, 50, of Kingsville, Texas passed away peacefully on July 23, 2023. She was born on March 8, 1973, to Juan and Sylvia Muniz in Kingsville, Texas. 

 

Melinda was a former hairstylist for many years and was the owner of Dulce Vida Hair & Nail Salon in Kingsville, Texas. She was a remarkable individual whose presence was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey through life was filled with love, laughter and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She loved planning and hosting gatherings for any and all occasions. She dedicated herself to teach not only her children but all her nieces and nephews about love and family. She always put everyone else's needs before her own and was always there when you needed her. Her memory will forever stay alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind. 

 

Melinda is preceded in death by her daughter Jacklyn Jo Beltran; father Juan G. Muniz; beloved nephew Juan Muniz III "Tres"; paternal grandparents Alejandro and Simona Muniz; and maternal grandparents Hilario "Lalo" and Celia Garcia. 

 

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, Johnny Joe "John" Beltran Sr.; children Melanie Nicole Beltran (Jesse) Alaniz and Johnny Joe "Jay" Beltran Jr; stepdaughters Yvette Nicole Rojas (Daniel) Meza and Pricilla J. Beltran; step-granddaughter Daniella Nicole Meza; mother Sylvia Garcia Muniz; brothers Juan Muniz Jr. "Jon-Jon" and Roel Armando Muniz "Roy"; sister Melissa Yvonne Muniz (Jesse) Ydrogo; nieces and nephews Ruby G. Muniz (Aaron) Alvarado, Myranda E. Muniz, Jacob A. Ydrogo, Jesse Ydrogo Jr, John Morris (Jayleen Rodriguez) Muniz, Dominic A. Luciano and her Great-nephew Jon August Muniz-Alvarado along with other family members who were touched by her love.

 

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. and service to follow. Burial will take place on a later date.
