Marion Underbrink

Marion Francis Underbrink, 94, of Riviera, Texas passed away January 1, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born February 20, 1922 in Riviera to Orlando & Grace Underbrink.
Marion was a farmer, carpenter, and rancher. He was employed by the late Frank P. Horlock, Jr., Rio Paisano Ranch, for many years.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Tom Underbrink and Jack Underbrink; granddaughters, Amy Lynn and Leann Marie Grayson, son-in-law Tom Russek, and 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Loraine Till Underbrink; his children, Patricia (Allan) Cumberland of Kingsville, Shirley (James) Barrington of Bishop, Nancy (Eddie) Thornton of Concan, Dr. Jerry (Carolyn) Underbrink of Kingsville, Lori Russek of Kingsville, Ed (Kay) Underbrink of Kingsville, Barbara Sue Grayson of McAllen, and Robert (Laura) Underbrink of Houston; his sisters, Laura Strubhart of Shiner and Margie Brown of Riviera, 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
His grandsons will serve as his pallbearers.
Visitation will be at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church-Vattmann, Texas, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church-Vattmann, Texas. Burial will follow at Vattmann Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
