Maria D. Cruz

Maria “Coco” Cruz, passed away on Saturday, June 25,2022 at the age of 63.  She was an outstanding wife, excellent mom, and loving grandma. She always had a smile on her face for everyone, she was full of energy, and she loved to cook for her family. Coco used to enjoy the weekends when all her family got together at her house and all her grandkids were happily running around her house, that always made her so happy; you would never see her sad or mad. She was an exceptional woman; everyone loved her, and she will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Ofelia Gonzalez; brother, Jorge Gonzalez; and in-laws, Leonardo Cruz and Mercedes Alcala.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Erasmo Cruz; children, Angelica (Jorge) Munoz, Luis Cruz, and Felipe Cruz; grandchildren, Andrea, Derek, Isabel, and Jorge Munoz and Penelope, Roman, and Romeo Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at St. Gertrude Catholic Church.  Services will conclude after mass.
