Maria Ortega

Maria H. Ortega, 91, passed away on January 8, 2019 in Mission, Texas. She was born on August 17, 1927 in Tivoli, Texas to Marcos Hernandez and Manuela Ibarra Hernandez.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eliseo Ortega, and four brothers.
Maria is survived by three sons, Eliseo Ortega Jr. of Kingsville, Texas, Elijio (Sally) Ortega of Kingsville, Texas, and Richard (Irma) Ortega of Lockhart, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Filomena Hernandez of Houston, Texas, and Chona Serna-Ibarra of Monterrey, Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Tx 78363.
