Maria Miguel

Maria A. San Miguel, age 82, a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 in Corpus Christi. She was born December 24, 1930 in Premont, Texas to Francisco P. San Miguel and Olivia Recio San Miguel. Mrs. San Miguel, a homemaker, was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Kingsville.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents two sons, Rene and Rolando Gonzales two brothers, Frank and Robert San Miguel and one sister, Adela Reyna.
She is survived by four daughters, Mary Lou Galindo Luis of Taft, Texas, Irene Galindo and Margie Reyes, both of Corpus Christi, and Norma Munoz of San Diego, Texas one sister, Adelaida Ortegon Demetrio of Bishop, Texas one brother, Gilberto San Miguel Susie of Kingsville 25 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Kingsville, with Fr. Peter Thenan as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
