Maria Rios Klecak

Maria Rios Klecak, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 12, 2024. She lived a life filled with joy, love, and cherished moments with her family and friends. Maria was born on November 11, 1944, in Kingville, Texas to Domingo and Carolina T. Rios.

Maria's passion for life was evident in her various hobbies and interests which included gambling, taking leisurely drives around town, meeting for taquitos with loved ones, and traveling. However, above all else, Maria found the greatest joy in spending quality time with her family.

Through her journey in life, Maria was preceded by her parents Domingo T. Rios and Carolina T. Rios, as well as her siblings Miguel T. Rios, Ricardo T. Rios, Lorenzo T. Rios, Enrique T. Rios, Domingo T. Rios Jr., Oscar T. Rios, Heriberto T. Rios, Jesusa R. Biones, Martha Alvarez, and San Juanita Holford. Maria was also preceded in death by her son David Joseph Klecak and granddaughter Sandra Ann Klecak.

Maria leaves behind her loving children Beverly Jordan, Bonnie Membreno, Barbara (Xavier) Bernal, and Andrew Justin Klecak. She will also be deeply missed by her 15 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 31 great-great-grandchildren who will always cherish the memories they shared together.

A visitation to honor Maria's life will take place on March 19th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas, with a rosary to commence at 7:00 PM. Following this, a Mass will be held on March 20th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Kingsville, with a burial at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM.

In the hearts of those who knew her best - family and friends alike - Maria's spirit will live on forever. May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all whose lives she touched.
