Maria Alvarado

Maria A. Alvarado, age 85, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born August 1, 1928 in Monterrey, Mexico to Apolonio Flores and Paula Alvarado Flores.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elvia Alvarado son, Elias F. Alvarado and granddaughter, Elisa Alvarado.
Mrs. Alvarado is survived by her husband of 66 years of marriage, Elias T. Alvarado of Kingsville three daughters, Yolanda Benavides of Victoria, Texas, Maria A. Cano Jose E. of Brownsville, Texas and Paula A. Gonzales Raul, Jr. of Pflugerville, Texas one brother, Rodolfo Flores of Mexico one sister, Olivia Flores of Mexico 11 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Servando Torres Jr. officiating. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Servando Torres Jr. presiding. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
