Margie Maltby

Margie Rose McCracken Maltby went to be with her Lord and Savior April 1, 2015. She was at her home surrounded by her family and love ones including her faithful dog and companion Sheba and her beloved cat Blackie of 15 years. She was born in Roswell, NM on Feb 28, 1930 (85 years old) to Millard Amos and Lettie Irene McCracken. She was a former resident of Kingsville and a resident of Temple, Texas. Margie was a loving wife, mother, excellent homemaker and cook.
Margie was preceded by her husband Herman Neil Maltby. They were married 46 years. Margie had four sisters, Martha, Millie, May and Mildred. She enjoyed helping others and always had a heart for the needy. She was a member of Retama Park Baptist Church, Kingsville, Texas and Harvest Church, Temple, Texas.
She is survived by two of her sisters, May Hubble and Marie Taylor; her five children, Brenda Sue Zintgraff (Tom), Ceil Dee Patton (David), Jay Eldon Maltby (Denise), Charles Neil Maltby (Gayle) and Randy Lee Maltby (Sandy); nine grandchildren, Christy Allerkamp, Ginger McEowen, James Zintgraff, Tandi Patton, Tori Patton, Jayson Maltby, Caryn Ann Maltby, Joshua Maltby and Caleb Maltby; and six great-grandchildren, Camdyn McEowen, Trinity McEowen, Ethan Allerkamp, Evan Allerkamp, Addison Allerkamp and Ezra Allerkamp .
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Turcotte- Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gary Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Resthaven Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Zintgraff, Caleb Maltby, Eric Allerkamp,Tyler McEowen and Olen Nau.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Joshua Maltby and Jayson Maltby.
