Margaret Chisholm

Margaret Louise Rye Chisholm of Kingsville, TX passed away suddenly of heart failure on Friday, December 8th in Kingsville, TX.
Marge was born in Pickford, Michigan on January 16, 1936 to her parents Mervin and Margaret Rye. She married her husband, John, on October 29, 1960 and began a journey with him that spanned 51 years. John and Marge had two children, Scott and Kathy.
Marge was the second of three daughters born to her parents. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, and her sisters, Betty and Cleo. A devoted Navy wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to many, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Linda Chisholm of Cresson, TX; her beloved daughter, Kathy Chisholm-Webb of Kingsville, TX; grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Webb of Kingsville, TX, and Stephen Chisholm of Cresson, TX; great grandchildren, Lauren and Savannah Webb of Kingsville, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and, her loving dog, Boots.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Thursday, December 14, 2017, with a graveside service at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX at 2:00 p.m.
