Marcia H. Gonzalez

Marcia H. Gonzalez, a beloved member of the Kingsville community, passed away on June 20, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 28, 1932, in Kingsville, Texas. Marcia was a dedicated individual who spent her career as part of the Kingsville ISD Cafeteria Staff before retiring to enjoy her hobbies and interests.

Throughout her life, Marcia found joy in simple pleasures such as playing bingo, socializing with friends at the Senior Center, and embarking on road trips with her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her kind and compassionate nature.

Marcia's legacy lives on through her surviving family members: her loving husband, Jesus Gonzalez; her children, Jesse (Irma) Gonzalez of Kingsville, Diana (Carlos) Arizpe of San Antonio, Roel (Cecilia) Gonzalez of Kingsville, and Linda (Jose) Ortega of New Braunfels; along with 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Marcia is preceded in death by her father, Anicieto Hinojosa; mother, Olivia Garcia; sister, Berta Basaldua; sister, Hermodea Huerta; and brother, Eloy Hinojosa. She is also reunited with her grandson Eduardo Sendejo Jr., who has gone before her.

The services to honor and celebrate Marcia's life will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville for visitation on June 27th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by the Holy Rosary. A Mass will follow on June 28th at St. Martin Catholic Church in Kingsville starting at 10:00 AM.

Marcia H. Gonzalez will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her gentle spirit and kind soul. May she rest in eternal peace as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who cherished her presence.
