Marcene Jencks

Marcene Calvin Jencks, age 84, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 in Jim Wells County, Texas. He was born December 21, 1928 in Bancroft, South Dakota to Calvin Clements Jencks and Lillian Mildred Reeter Jencks. He was presently employed with Don Brock. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a U.S. veteran. He was an avid AI fan and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Bethlaree Jencks infant daughter brother, Ronald Jencks and grandson, Matthew Wade Jencks.
He is survived by four children, Deborah Lynn Heggblad of Pensacola, Florida, Randall Wayne Jencks Sr. and wife Diane of Altus, Oklahoma, Marsha Rae Perrin and husband LeRoy of Dilley, Texas and Rebecca Leah Durbin and husband William of Alice, Texas one sister, Arlene Yandell of Annaville, Texas 13 grandchildren 27 greatgrandchildren and two greatgreatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Tim Bennett officiating. Burial of cremains will take place at Chamberlain Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests everyone who will attend the service to please wear casual attire.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
