Manuel Casas

Rev. Manuel S. Casas, age 83, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born March 18, 1931 in Alamo, Texas to Guillermo Casas and Manuela Sosa Casas. Rev. Casas was a Pentecostal minister of the Gospel. He was the founder of Templo Galilea, Iglesia Pentecostal Independiente, Inc., Bishop.
He was preceded in death by his son, Guillermo Willie Casas and parents.
Rev. Casas is survived by his wife, Lucia DeLuna Casas of Bishop one daughter, Maria C. Arredondo Daniel of Bishop one son, Noe Casas Olga of Elsa, Texas six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
Public visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Templo Gethsemani Pentecostes, 811 West Third Street, Bishop, with Rev. Ruben M. Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop, Texas at the Evangelico Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
