Magda Arriaga

Magda Leticia Arriaga entered into rest on Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Leticia was born on July 3, 1953 in Kingsville, Texas to her parents Augustin and Palmira Olivarez Pena. Leticia was strong in her faith and she taught her family the importance of caring for one another. She is known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother who loved to be surrounded by sports, especially softball.
Leticia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Gilbert V. Arriaga, her parents, and one brother, Larry Pena.
Leticia is survived by her daughters Michele Garza Juan, Melissa Sanchez Fidencio, Erica Arriaga Lloyd and Amanda Sanchez John. The grandsons include Andrew Arriaga Aleida, Fidencio Sanchez III Amanda, Enrique Sanchez, Gilbert Nate Arriaga and Seth Coleman. Leticias granddaughters include Kiana Joye Lopez and Ava Jewel Sanchez. Her greatgrandchildren include Alyvia and Aryc.Leticia leaves behind two brothers, Jose Aaron Pena and Bobby Pena along with two sisters, Maria Gonzalez Arvie and Sandra Pena Jimmy.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 3:00PM9:00PM at TurcottePiper Mortuary with Pastor Cann delivering a congregational prayer at 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Kings Way Family Church located at 1727 Senator Carlos Truan Blvd, Kingsville, Texas. Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.
