Mabel Coltharp

Mabel Durham Coltharp, age 95, a resident of Corsicana, Texas at the time of her death and a former resident of Agua Dulce, Corpus Christi and Sweetwater, Texas died Friday, July 4, 2014. She was born November 21, 1918 in Addington Bend, Oklahoma to Smokey and Minnie Stanford. Mrs. Coltharp was a member and former church secretary of Weber Road Baptist Church, Corpus Christi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Durham three brothers, Rube, Jess and John Stanford and three sisters, Grace Brandon, Lucille Cleveland and Vera Muncrief.
Mrs. Coltharp is survived by two daughters, Coral Selman and husband Dick of Corsicana and Jessie Martin and husband Lelwyn of Agua Dulce numerous grandchildren greatgrandchildren greatgreatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. J.D. Glasscock officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop, Texas at Restland Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
