Lyvia Solis

Lyvia Solis, age 77, a resident of Bishop, Texas passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born February 13, 1937 in Bishop to Antonio and Beatrice Garcia. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Librado Solis parents brothers, Albert Garcia and Amador Garcia one sister, Ofelia DeLeon.

Mrs. Solis is survived by her children, Graciela Jesus Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sylvia Darrell Beal, Eddie Solis and Edna Tom Rogers, all of Bishop 11 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren two sisters, Nicolasa Sosa and Delia Sanchez, both of Bishop and brother, Antonio Garcia of Bishop.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. There will be no funeral procession, everyone is encouraged to meet at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop, Saturday morning. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Victor at 10:00 a.m.

Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
