Lorenza Camarillo

On Tuesday afternoon September 27th Lorenza Silva Camarillo at 88 years of age longtime resident of Kingsville, moved to her Heavenly home.  Lorenza was a Godly Woman who Loved the Lord and her family; she set an example for her family that will lead them all their lives.  Lorenza was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.  She was born in Kingsville TX on September 5, 1934, to the late Miguel Silva and the late Juanita Hernandez Silva.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frutoso L. Camarillo; parents; brothers Aurelio H. Silva and Alejandro H. Silva; and sisters, Rosario Macareno and Virginia Avalos.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Priscila Camarillo, Anna D. Camarillo, and Denise C. (Alonzo) Chapa; sons, Alex Camarillo and Andy Camarillo all of Kingsville, TX; brothers, Miguel (Esther) Silva and Juan Silva; sisters, Irene Sanchez, Juanita Garcia, Luisa Arriaga, Santos Vasquez, Gregoria (Abel) Garcia, and Maria (Johnny) Harris; grandchildren, Alise, Alie, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences at 10:00 am on Monday, October 3, 2022, at King's Way Family Church; with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 am.  Rite of committal and interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
