Lisa Herrera

Lisa Michelle Herrera, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023, at the age of 47, after a lengthy battle. Lisa was the most selfless person anyone could have ever met. Family was always her number one priority. Her mother was her best friend, and her father was her rock. Her niece and nephew were the light in her eyes. Her brother was her shoulder to lean on and her sister n law was the sister she never had.  Lisa had a heart of gold and was that one person you knew at any time you could pick up the phone and call and she would be there no matter what. She loved animals especially cats. There will never be another daughter, sister, aunt, or friend like Lisa, she was a true Angel on earth. Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jesus and Ninfa Herrera and maternal grandparents, Adan and Otilia Cavazos.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Jesse Jr., and Nelda Herrera; brother, Jesse III (Jennifer) Herrera; niece, Alexia Herrera; nephew, Braxton Herrera; boyfriend, David Quintanilla; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; with memorial rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM. Services will conclude that afternoon.
