Linda J. Williams, age 70, a resident of Pleasanton, Texas and a former longtime resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Pleasanton. She was born February 4, 1944 in Kingsville to Raymond Hayes and Mary Barton Hayes. Mrs. Williams was employed for Mercantile Bank as a loan officer. She was also a former employee of Texas AI University Kingsville.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Hayes and Mary Barton Hayes.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 50 years of marriage, James Doug Williams of Pleasanton two daughters, Stacie Morneau and husband Bill of Pleasanton and Sherrie Dapkiewicz and husband Brian of Topeka, Kansas one son, Jay Williams and wife Karen of Ganado, Texas one sister, Darlene Maples and husband Thomas of Kingsville one brother, Arnold Hayes and wife Pat of Kingsville and 11 grandchildren, Sean Workman, Jackie Workman, Heston Cantu, Katy Williams, Dean Williams, Hunter Grossman, Carson Morneau, Sidney Morneau, Brenen Dapkiewicz, Hannna Dapkiewicz and Hope Dapkiewicz.
Public visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Clyde Butter officiating. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
