Lilia Mendietta

Lilia L. Mendietta, age 75, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born December 4, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rodolfo Flores Lopez and Elvira Rios Lopez. Mrs. Mendietta was employed at Texas A&I University until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Guadalupana Religious Organization.
She was preceded in death on December 2, 2009 by her husband, Dionicio P. Mendietta Sr.
Mrs. Mendietta is survived by three sons, Dionicio Mendietta Jr. (Blanca) and Daniel Mendietta (Sandra), both of Kingsville, and David Mendietta of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mendietta of San Antonio; two sisters, Rosa L. Rodriguez and Beatrice Rodriguez, both of Corpus Christi; one brother, Robert Lopez (Susan) of California; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 205 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
