Leo Benjamin, Jr.

Leo Wesley Benjamin Jr., age 77, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born February 11, 1938 in Kingsville to Leo Wesley Benjamin Sr. and Dorothy Jordan Benjamin. Leo was a graduate of H.M. King High School and attended Texas A&I University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Leo was loved by many friends.
Leo was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, William James Jordan and Winnie Jordan; and aunt, Winnie Jordan Broussard.
Leo is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jordan Benjamin of Kingsville.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim M. Curran officiating. Military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Funeral Military Detail will take place outside of the mortuary immediately after the chapel service. Burial will be private and take place at Chamberlain Cemetery at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
