Leandro Villarreal

Leandro O. Villarreal, Jr., 68, passed away on January 10, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on September 9, 1952 in Kingsville, Texas to Leandro and Victoria Villarreal. He loved watching baseball, basketball, and football, especially, the Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; wife, Adelfa Villarreal; brother, Alejandro Villarreal; and sister, Virginia Aguilar.

Leandro is survived by his daughters, LaCresha (Hubert) Olvera and Lori (Mark) Lara; grandchildren, Johnathan, Caleb, Grady, LeeAnn, Emily, and Noah; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
