Kenneth Ramsey

Kenneth Albert Ramsey passed unexpectedly at the age of 51 on October 15, 2020 at his home in Kingsville, Texas.

Kenny is survived by his mother Faith Holloway, his sister Karen (Terrell) Griffith, his nephew Tristan Griffith and niece Taylor Griffith. He is proceeded in death by his father Frances Ramsey.

Kenny started his career in the United States Air Force. After serving, he graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. He spent his career as a Laboratory Technician with the last 15 years at Spohn Kleberg Hospital. When he wasn’t working, Kenny enjoyed being one with the earth. He donated much of his time helping Weavers of Love with their community garden; served as president of the Kingsville Master Gardener Club; and was a Board member of the Farmers Market of Kingsville, a project he helped formulate. Kenny was a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, and community volunteer. He will be missed beyond measure.

Due to COVID, a small private ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 24th, starting with a rosary at 10:30 am followed by the ceremony at 11:00 at Turcotte Piper Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, we ask for a donation to be sent in his loving memory to Weavers of Love, Attn: Sister Elizabeth Smith, 913 South 21st Street, Kingsville, TX 78363
