Kenneth Kraatz

Kenneth Kraatz, age 67, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born April 6, 1946 in Kingsville, Texas to Alvie and Cleo Raab Kraatz. He was a loving father, grandpapoppa and friend. Kenneth enjoyed ranching, hunting, coin and gun collecting and avid reader. He assisted the youth in the community with the livestock show and active in the Riviera FFA. Kenneth was a caretaker for his brother and mother.
He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Kraatz father, Alvie Kraatz Sr. sister, Margaret Howe and brother, Bruce Kraatz.
Kenneth is survived by two sons, James Carmen Kraatz of Riviera and Brett Sarah Kraatz of Kerrville, Texas four grandchildren, Luke Kraatz, Renell Kraatz, Cole Kraatz and Claire Kraatz mother, Cleo Kraatz of Riviera and brother, Alvie Cindy Kraatz Jr. of Fredericksburg, Texas.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p .m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Curran officiating. Burial will follow in Riviera at the Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
