Kenneth Dunn Sr.

Kenneth Collins Dunn 83, of Riviera, Texas passed away August 22, 2016.
Kenneth was born July 5, 1933 in Alfred, Texas to James and Nancy (Collins) Dunn. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nelda Fay Durbin Dunn and 4 children. James Dunn and wife Delia of Portland, Kenneth Dunn II of Kerrville, Alan Dunn of Kingsville and Janice Dunn Bowen of Kerrville. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, James Lee Dunn II, Heather Marie Dunn and Preston Bowen and several nieces and nephews. He was raised in Alice, Texas before joining the military and is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Kenneth served in the United States Navy from July 1952 until June 1971, serving 2 tours in Vietnam during his 20 year career. Upon retiring from the Navy Kenneth was a civil service employee for 28 years at Naval Air Station Kingsville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with Interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted in Turcotte-Piper Mortuary 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
