Julio N. Del Bosque, 89, passed away on January 5, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on July 1, 1930 in Vattman, Texas to Rosendo and Micaela Naranjo Del Bosque. He enjoyed being outdoors tending to his animals.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, and numerous brothers and one sister.
Julio is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Thelma S. Del Bosque of Kingsville, Texas; 6 children, Julio (Esther) Del Bosque of Lampasas, Texas, Tony Del Bosque of Palmer, Texas, Maria Diana (Gary) Hatley, David (Mary Dall) Del Bosque, Thelma (Mando) Hinojosa all of Kingsville, Texas, and Delma (Joe) Trevino of Riviera, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert (Lilly) Del Bosque, and Rosendo Del Bosque Jr., both from Odessa, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Romeo Salinas officiating.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd. Kingsville, Texas 78363.
