Juanita Cruz

Juanita G. Cruz, age 88, a long time resident of Kingsville, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born November 6, 1927 in Poth, Texas to Francisco Garibaldo and Seferina Colunga.
She was preceded in death by her son, Manuel Cruz, and daughter, Ofelia Torres.
Juanita is survived by her daughters: Janet Cruz-Redus of Katy, Texas, Terri De La Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas, Olivia Herrera of Kingsville, Texas, Sylvia Ortega of Kingsville, Texas, Janie Davila of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Lilly Cortez of Kingsville, Texas; one son: Atanacio Cruz Jr. of Kingsville, Texas; numerous brothers and sisters; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
