Juana Villarreal

Juana Villarreal, 75, passed away May 15, 2021 in Kingsville, Texas. She was born on November 9, 1945 in Ben Bolt, Texas to Jose Villarreal and Maria Rangel Villarreal. Juana was an Employee at Texas A &  M University Kingsville for 24 years when she retired in 2008. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren after retirement and spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed going to church with her friends when she was well. Juana brought fun and laughter with her joking energy when in a room.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Villarreal, daughter, Nelda Gutierrez, brother, Jose Villarreal Jr., and sister, Maria V. Solorzano.

Juana is survived by her daughter, Eva (Gabriel) Orta, husband, Homero Gutierrez, grandchildren, Nicholas Roberts, Izaiah Orta, Dezorae Orta, Izaac Orta, one brother, Rogelio Villarreal, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 5p.m.-9p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7p.m. at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Martins Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
