Juan Guevara

Juan G. Guevara, age 80, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born July 27, 1937 to Jose Guevara and Lucia Guitierrez. Mr. Guevara was a ranch hand and worked for many of the area ranches.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Stella C. Guevara; and three sisters.
He is survived by one son, Juan Guevara Jr. of Sarita, Texas; three daughters, Lucia (Lionel) Longoria and Esther (Alonzo) Longoria both of Sarita, Texas and Beatriz Saldana of Beeville, Texas; one brother, Mike Guiterrez of Kingsville, Texas; three sisters, Gloria (Americo) Garcia and Lucinda (Armin) De Moral both of Kingsville, Texas and Josie Meraz of Corpus Christi, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sarita, Texas. Burial will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
