Jose Munoz

Jose L. Munoz Jr., age 73, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 in McAllen, Texas. He was born June 8, 1942 in Bishop, Texas to Jose Munoz Sr. and Juanita Loredo Munoz. Mr. Munoz was employed for the King Ranch for 30 years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Ambriz Munoz; parents; and brother, Eligio L. Munoz.
Mr. Munoz is survived by two daughters, Belinda Munoz-Mechell (Herman) of Bishop, Texas and Rosa Munoz-Hernandez (Mario) of Falfurrias, Texas; one son, Jose Munoz III of Kingsville; five sisters, Estefana "Fanie" Munoz, Guadalupe "Lupe" Munoz and Esperanza M. Gonzalez, all of Kingsville, Consuelo Munoz of Sarita, Texas and Maria E. Sandoval of Clifton, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
