Jose Cerda

Jose A. Cerda, age 63, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born August 15, 1951 in Ahualulco, S.L.P., Mexico to Ursinio Cerda and Victorianna Medina Cerda. Jose was employed for Mundy Corporation until his retirement. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Benito Cerda and Ramon Cerda.
Jose is survived by his wife of 28 years of marriage, Norma Linda Cerda of Kingsville two sons, Alex and Luis Cerda, both of Kingsville one daughter, Dominique Cerda of Kingsville three brothers, Sabino, Salvador and Jose Cerda, all of Mexico and two sisters, Sara and Hermilia Cerda, both of Mexico.
Visitation will take place after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014
at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Fr. Romeo Salinas as celebrant.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos
