Jimmy C. Lowe, age 79, died February 4, 2019. Jim was resident of Riviera, Tx and was born on March 6, 1934 to James Lowe and Francis Mann in Amory, Mississippi. Jim joined the US Marines and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Jim had his pilot licenses and enjoy flying his Cessna plane. He volunteered as a mechanic with the Commemorative Air Force for 20 years and enjoyed working on vintage planes from WWII. He also flew a B52 Bomber as a navigator with the vintage Air group known as the Devil Dog's. He worked for ECOLAB as a salesman for 35years and was able to travel abroad on occasion for the company, which he enjoyed.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elma V. Lowe and his step-son, Dr. Robert Villarreal of San Antonio, TX., and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m., on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Turcotte Piper Mortuary with military Honor's to follow. Burial will be scheduled on a later date.
