Jesusa Rivas

Jesusa G. Rivas, 77, a resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born September 12, 1936 in Ricardo, Texas to Guadalupe Gonzalez and Elida Serna Gonzalez. Mrs. Rivas was a member of St. Martins Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto A. Rivas and two brothers, Francisco Pancho Gonzalez and Joe Curie Gonzalez.
Mrs. Rivas is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Rodriguez George of Corpus Christi, Texas, Norma Rodriguez of Kingsville and Belinda Ochoa of Brownsville, Texas one son, Ruben Rivas of Corpus Christi three sisters, Fina Longoria Mac of Temple, Texas, Elida Ybarra of Kingsville and Nelda Quintanilla Juan of Corpus Christi eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will take place after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the TurcottePiper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at St. Martins Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to TurcottePiper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
