Jesus Gonzales, Jr.

Jesus V. Gonzales Jr., age 79, a resident of Pasadena, Texas and a former resident of Kingsville, Texas passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born February 11, 1937 in Sarita, Texas to Jesus H. Gonzales and Rafela Villarreal Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales was employed for the city of Kingsville as a mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kingsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Emma Lerma; and grandson, John Michael Gonzales.
Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Narcisa A. Gonzales of Pasadena; four sons, Benito Gonzales of California, Lorenzo Gonzales of Kingsville, Juan Jesus Gonzales of California and David Gonzales of El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Mary Ann Luna of Marshall, Texas and Mary Sandoval of Pasadena; three brothers, Omar Gonzales and Johnny Gonzales, both of Sarita, Texas and Baldemar Gonzales of Kingsville; three sisters, Delia G. Lerma of Midland, Texas, Celia Alegria of Falfurrias, Texas and Elma Montiel of Riviera, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kingsville, with Fr. Romero Salinas as celebrant. Burial will follow in Kingsville at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
