It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Paulk.
Beloved mom, sister, and grand mom to some amazing fur babies passed away at the age of 70 on Monday January 17, 2022, in Manchester, Connecticut.
Jerry was born in Robstown, Texas on June 22, 1951, and grew up in Banquete. She started working for the city of Corpus Christi until she met her first husband Bill and had their daughter Shannon. From there, they moved to Kingsville where Jerry worked for Gaither Air Conditioning Company until she decided to change careers and go back to college to get her Physics degree. At that time, she worked as the church secretary for First Presbyterian Church, Kingsville. She again took a career change after the passing of her husband Bill and started working for McDonnell Douglas at NAS Kingsville where she met her second husband Monte. Despite her company’s merger with Boeing Aircraft and the loss of Monte in 1999, she transferred to St. Louis, Missouri. Jerry retired from Boeing in September of 2018 after a 29 career with the company. She moved to Connecticut March of 2019 to be with her daughter and son-in-law.
Jerry loved life. She loved fiercely and deeply. Anyone who knew Jerry was touched by her kindness, humor, and mild temperament. She was a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity. Jerry always had a bright look on life, even with all her medical problems, she just looked right past them and kept on. She was bound and determined in all she did. She was a hard worker and super smart. Jerry will truly be missed.
She is survived by her daughter Shannon Reault and her husband Ryan; their fur babies Lex, Niya, and Ziggy. Stepson Craig Paulk, Stepdaughter Kacie Paulk and daughter Karlee. Sister Patricia Brandt and her husband Earl. Nephew Les Brandt and his wife Shelley; daughters Hayley and Holly, Nephews Mike Hellums and family, Jeff Hellums and family, Nephew Ray Prochazka and family, Nephew Louis Prochazka and family, Niece Susan Difani and Husband Paul, Niece Michelle De La Roche and her husband; daughters Danielle, Jacki, and Brie. Many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
