It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Sendejo, who departed from this world on May 4, 2024. His presence illuminated the lives of all those around him, and the void left by his absence is a testament to the depth of his impact.
Jeremiah, fondly known as Jerry, was born on July 31, 1985, in San Antonio, TX. Raised in Bishop, TX, he thrived at Bishop High School, showcasing exceptional talent in both athletics and music. Jerry's love for singing, BBQ, and his vibrant zest for life left behind an everlasting legacy, embodying the fervent spirit that he was.
Jerry's memory will forever endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His kindness and selflessness knew no limits and have left an everlasting impact. Through treasured memories and stories, he will be honored with profound love and gratitude.
Jeremiah is survived by his children Jacory and LaMya Sendejo; mother Cynthia Casey; siblings Tony and Nicky Bruce; girlfriend Analicia Montalvo and her son Javon Montalvo; maternal grandmother, Maria Sendejo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Fortino Sendejo, uncles Eddie, Ricky and Tony Sendejo, and cousin Eddie Sendejo Jr.
The family will receive condolences from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, Texas; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Kingsville, TX. A rite of committal and interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Bishop, TX.
